Alfredo Martínez, Mexico – A Guadalajara fashion design graduate, Alfredo Martínez is one of Mexico’s most prominent figures in fashion. Elements of science fiction, music, art, architecture, organic forms, current events and personal stories are the key elements of the collections that his brand, established in 2010, releases each season. Alfredo creates detailed garments from quality fabrics, embellished with the use of traditional techniques, in addition to experimenting with new functional forms in his designs.

Esteban Cortázar, Colombia – In 2002, at just 18 years old, the Colombian designer Esteban Cortázar made his debut at New York Fashion Week – and did not disappoint. He became the youngest designer to show at the event, earning him recognition as the “child prodigy of Colombian fashion”. Cortázar moved to Paris in 2007 to take over the house of Emanuel Ungaro, where his designs garnered praised on catwalks at Paris Fashion Week. Now 33 years old and focused on his own brand, Cortázar is one of the most prominent Latin designers in the world. He currently resides in France, and has collaborated with big names and brands such as Net-A-Porter. He explores his Latin roots through his designs, which accentuate the feminine figure with a modern touch.

Meche Correa, Peru – Meche Correa has enjoyed a long and fruitful career as one of the most renowned designers in Peru, known for working with local artisans to help rescue the country’s unique craftsmanship traditions through her contemporary creations. One of her best-known designs is the “Love Bag”, a portfolio inspired by the traditional blankets used by Peruvians to carry their children. Many of her designs are also inspired by traditional Andean clothing, featuring embroidery techniques from Ayacucho.
