Most often seen shuffling between the stylish streets of Tokyo and the catwalks of Paris, street style photographer Rei Shito recently took a detour to Helsinki to check out what’s happening on the hip Nordic fashion scene.
Rei says: “This is Irene, who I met working at the shop of stylish Finnish shoe brand Minna Parikka on Aleksanterinkatu street in the centre of Helsinki.”
“The outfit she’s wearing is H&M, and her sandals are (of course!) Minna Parikka. Her top-bottom combination is almost like pyjamas, and I like the way she’s able to sport such a casual, relaxed style but has made it look fashionable. I think it’s also representative of the Helsinki scene: cool, relaxed, stylish.”
